Today was the State Destination Imagination Competition (Bailey's DI team had qualified at the regional level in March). Her team, the Legend Stompers, competed against 10 others in the "Hit or Myth" category, with the top two places moving on to the "Global" competition in Knoxville, TN. The Legend Stompers placed first! They were terrific, and they had a great time. The backdrop shown is one of the three scenes they created - this one is Mt. Fuji. Bailey is pictured in character as "Bob", the bumbling Legend Stomper who eats a lot of cheeseburgers. This isn't a great picture of her fellow Legend Stomper, Jack, but check out his cool leather jacket. It's really a shirt covered in black duct tape!
